REVIEWS:

The combination of yoga and sailing is sublime. Action and then total relaxation. Every yoga location is even more beautiful than the next. Then snorkel back to the boat. And all this takes place between capriciously shaped islands under a clear blue sky. Skipper Denis and yoga teacher Suzanna are allrounders. They know the islands like the back of their hand, including the most special tavernas. Too much wind: no problem! Then we glide over donkey paths. Every day is different. An absolute must!

ONE WORD - AMAZING! I felt at home, from start till end of the trip. Very caring and warm atmosphere. Best way to discover Santorini is from the sea. Real gourmet food in local places. Beautiful spots. And yes we saw dolphins swimming with us just on the next day. Our group was not much into yoga but we profited into every single day of sailing experience. Just a comment: sailing and yoga can be very physical, to me I love both but hard to combine.

AMAZING GETAWAY IN GREECE. The group was really nice, we shared great time, discovering new places and exercising yoga in beautiful spots. I felt truly privileged to access those places and being pampered all day long. Given the experience of Suzy and our great skipper, both very knowledgeable of the islands, we could benefit the most of every place we visited. My deepest gratitude for this vacation!

I always loved traveling, but as a young mom, I didn’t want my first week apart from my baby to be in the chaos of a big city, exploring museums and walking around like crazy. I wanted something that was exciting, yes, but at the same time relaxing. That was when Suzy proposed to me sailing and yoga retreat! That was a great decision, as sailing and getting to know people on the boat is exciting and yoga and wandering in Greek villages is relaxing. I’ve seen nice sunrises and sunsets, stretched my back after sleeping in bunk bed by doing yoga in scenic places, had barbecue and danced on a desert beach with newly made friends. The week in the boat was fantastic, long enough to get to know people, but not too long to get tired of them. Also, we sailed with two other boats, which increased our safety, the opportunities to exchange with other people and to learn more about sailing. Definitely an activity I want to repeat, and that I recommend if you want to relax and have an adventure in the right doses! See you in 2023!

Wonderful week! Suzy and skipper Raf made me feel immediately at home. They are very caring, fun and great teachers. We discovered beautiful bays and islands with a lovely small group of people. Every day snorkeling and yoga made me more than happy!

Suzanna is a wonderful and patient yoga teacher. She's a great listener, and adapts well to a variety of individual health needs. With a good sense of humour she adds a sparkle to every session. Thank you for the sailing and yoga experience. It really helped my overall flexibility and recovery.

September 2022, the first holiday for me in a couple of years; and how fantastic it was! Sailing in Greece was absolutely wonderful; the islands, the sea and the beautiful boat were all I hoped for. But the experienced skipper, the lovely yoga instructor and the great company of my fellow sailing buddies made it more than I could wish for! To me the whole trip was a perfect blend of relaxation, activity and fun and I would definitely recommend it to anyone open for new and unforgettable experiences. Thank you EscaleYachting & SuzyYoga for a holiday that I will never forget!

I did yoga and sailing with Suzanna for the first time in June 2021 and I liked it so much that I did it again in September that same year! My whole experience was great from the start until the end. This was my first solo trip and my first time sailing, so before the trip Suzanna was very willing to explain to me how things were and answer all of my questions.
The yoga and sailing was perfect. Every day after waking up I could just jump from the boat and swim for a while, then we did yoga on the beach or on any beautiful location, then swimming back to the boat and we were informed by the skipper to which new island we would go: this depended on the wind and weather conditions of the day. After we arrived to the new island, I just went back to swimming and doing snorkelling or paddling, but there were also options to explore the islands or just relax for a while. At nights, we had dinner at great tabernas and the food was always delicious. Everyone was super friendly and even though I didn’t know anyone when on the trips, we all got along very well. I really recommend yoga and sailing, it has been one of my best holidays!

1 Oktober 2023. Thanks Suzy for an amazing and blissful yoga- sailing trip from the 10-17 of September in Greece. I joined the trip with my 20 year old son who is now going to be a new Yogi-:). I was excited to be able to join two of my passions " sailing and yoga". Sailing on a catamaran was fantastic, skipper, food on board and in the local tavernes and restaurants, due to your love and knowledge of the best greek food was a fantastic experience. Your talent to connect the different guests from all over the world made this trip fun, enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks for a fantastic sailing/yoga holiday. I will be back. Lots of Love and all the best for your 2024 season.

Going on this trip in 2022 was the most spontaneous decision of my life: I just met Suzanna at the yoga studio in Amsterdam and our third class was on a rooftop in Ios island!
I had an amazing experience! Suzanna and Denis were wonderful hosts, open and caring, and very skilled sailors. We ate delicious food, we sailed the beautiful Aegean sea, we saw breathtaking nature along the way, we did yoga outdoors, we swam and hiked, and visited unique places. The weather in June was great and the people were nice. I would definitely recommend it, for me it was the right experience at the right time in my life!
